Title written in the blank center of an engraved title-page surrounded by medallions of 7 classical philosophers by Jollain: Aristotle, Pythagoras, Plato, Seneca, Epicurus, Porphyrius, Diogenes and Socrates. A second manuscript title-page adds an "imprint": Parisiis In Aula maiore Lexovea Praeside Domino Petro Grenier. Also, Ad dialectica seu Topica Ad Octo libros Topicorum, p. 1 (second series). A list of contents of the first set of lecture notes is on p. 515-522. Also includes 4 other engravings by Jollain, of Hippocrates, Socrates, Aristotle and Porphre, inserted facing p. 2, 80, 95 (first series) and 1 (second series).
